Ebook About Things heat up in the 11th Ward as the CCG investigates the high rate of investigator deaths. Kaneki has an explosive run-in with Aogiri Tree, essentially a Ghoul Gang, run by a Ghoul known only as the One-Eyed King.Book Tokyo Ghoul, Vol. 6 Review :
Oh my goodness!! So much action packed into one volume! So with anything in life trying to uncover the mysteries and truth about things, can lead into some dire consequences. Kaneki wants to know about the night Rize died in an "accident" since we now know it wasn't a mere oops with construction workers. I mean Rize was a binge eater and so that kind of puts her on the bye bye list, but still.Juzo, hehe, is a new inspector whom got a glimpse of in Vol 5, but nothing really deep into him. Juzo's a little odd, but I mean that just makes reading his character fun. Though I will say the way he "threads" string through his skin is a little bleh. Especially since there's some on his lower lash line, eeeh I don't think I could do that.Amon's very up tight about things and meeting Juzo kind of flipped his world on it's head. Juzo's not one for formalities or going by the book. Total opposite from Amon.Toka's also dealing with some issues of her own. I mean Kimi, HUMAN Kimi, told Toka that her Kagune was beautiful. This completely blew Toka away since she's grown accostumed to hiding her ghoul self. And the fact that majority of humans are terrified by a ghoul, much less their Kagune. Toka wishes to have a human life, she didn't get to choose her fate, but still could their be a chance her best friend would still accept her?Things get really heated for Kenaki when a ghoul by the name of Banjo rolls into the coffee shop. We remember Banjo from a snip it of Rize's past. She killed the leading ghouls of the ward when they were going to call her out on binge eating. So far it seems like everyone's connected to Rize somehow, someway. After doing such an act she left the ward telling Banjo to have good luck being the leader.Searching for her he winds up at the coffee house, only to discover Kaneki and the fact he smells of Rize. Things go hay wire when Ayato bursts in on them talking. Next thing you know a fight breaks out and Kaneki's on the losing end, he's kidnapped and taken to meet the One Eyed King. The fearful group of elite ghouls who've done nothing but fight. The Aogiri as they like to call themselves.A wars on the verge of happening and Kaneki's just been roped into the middle of it. This is a horror series so expect some grim scenes, blood, and so on. Language as well.I really did love this book in particular because the author gives us more insight into what Kagune's are for ghouls and how they work. I enjoyed that little teaching moment.I will say, MAJOR CLIFF HANGER. So if you wish to continue with the volumes, I recommend chain ordering them. I luckily had this volume and volume 7. And let me tell you, I read both of them in one sitting!! So good. Now excuse me while I go purchase the next couple of volumes. . .
